Tenant Group Calls on Federal and Provincial Representatives to Intervene After Ford Government Blocks Public Consultation on Bill 60
The tenant-led collective No Demovictions took the unprecedented step today of formally calling on the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Governor General of Canada, and Prime Minister Mark Carney to intervene after the Ford government moved to send Bill 60 directly to third reading, bypassing the Standing Committee process and effectively silencing Ontario tenants.
